These terms govern your use of Chip (“the app”), made by Jager Development (“we”, “us”, “our”). By downloading or using Chip, you agree to these terms.

Using Chip

Chip is a personal productivity app. You may use it for any lawful purpose. You’re responsible for your own device and account security.

Subscriptions

Chip Pro is an optional auto-renewing subscription that unlocks additional features. Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID and managed entirely by Apple. You can cancel or change your subscription at any time in your device’s Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.

Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
Your subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period at the rate of the selected plan.
Free trial periods, if offered, are forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

Screen Time & App Blocking

Chip’s Shield feature uses Apple’s Screen Time APIs to block apps you choose during focus sessions. This requires your explicit authorization. We do not see or store which apps you block. Apple’s frameworks enforce all restrictions on-device.

Your Data

Your chips, streaks, and settings stay on your device (and your private iCloud if you enable sync). We collect minimal anonymous analytics as described in our Privacy Policy. We don’t sell your data to anyone.

Intellectual Property

Chip and its original content, features, and design are owned by Jager Development and are protected by copyright and other applicable laws.

Disclaimers

Chip is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We don’t guarantee that Chip will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will meet your specific needs. Chip is a productivity tool, not a medical device — it is not a substitute for professional medical or mental health advice.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Jager Development shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of Chip.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Chip after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We’ll update the date at the top of this page when changes are made.
